Newly opened to a hail of fanfare earlier this year, the Hideaway of Nungwi Resort and Spa, set on an expansive sandy beach on the north west coast of this tropical isle. This large pristine resort certainly has the wow factor as it flows down the slope from the reception area. The Balinese designed rooms all come with a hand carved four poster bed from Indonesia. The dining options at Hideaway are numerous with many different options for everyone from pizzas on the beach to wild Africa game meat. The Hideaway Spa is very unique and probably the best on the island with a wide array of treatments and excellent trained therapists. The hideaway is an amazing resort, especially good for families, however the resort really does not have exude Zanzibar as you really could be anywhere in the world.

Royal Zanzibar Beach Resort
The Royal Zanzibar Beach Resort is a friendly and lively hotel situated on the north coast of Zanzibar island and boasts a stunning white sandy beach as well as four large swimming pools with a swim up bar and Jacuzzi.

The Mnarani Beach Cottages are located in Nungwi village,on the Northern most tip of the Island of Zanzibar. Mnarani Beach offers excellent accommodation suitable for honeymooners as well as families and couples looking for a wonderfully relaxing break. The Hotel has been independently recommended by The Lonely Planet Guide, The Bradt Guide to Zanzibar and many other East African travel guidebooks.
The lodge is owned by Nassor Salum Ali, a young Zanzibari entrepreneur.
Accommodation
Mnarani Beach Cottages has 22 standard rooms located in cottages;8 along the seafront and 4 in the gardens.
Mahaba Honeymoon Cottage-Very romantic honeymoon accommodation, located in a private part of the hotel with its own garden and access to the beach. Mahaba means romance and this cottage is definitely romantic, decorated in the local style with wooden floors and walls lined with traditional woven palm fronds. Zanzibar house-The ten rooms of Zanzibar house offer superb accommodation, with a little bit extra. All rooms have high-standard en-suite bathroom.
Standard rooms-They have 12 standard cottages. They are simple, but nevertheless private and comfortable.
Superior rooms -They have four Superior Rooms
that are more spacious than the standard rooms.
They have a sitting room on the ground floor and
bedroom upstairs.
Fisherman house self-contained appartments -It
is located in a garden view area, at only 60
meters from the beach. Fisherman House was built
with the idea of creating comfortable
accommodation for our guests who travel with a
big family or in a large group for example a
wedding party.
